Sometimes you don’t want to embed YouTube or Vimeo videos. So for a cleaner visual experience, this block allows you to easily control self-hosted videos.

Set whether a video has a placeholder image on top, whether the video will autoplay on page load, whether it loops or muted and many other options. You can also overlay text on top of the video if you so wish.

Note that different browsers and platforms may handle video differently, so some of these settings may get overridden by browser-specific defaults.
